praise & harmony - awesome GOD - a cappella worship

“Awesome God,” first in a new Praise&Harmony series, has just been released by The Acappella Company.

The 25-song contemporary worship CD, produced by Keith Lancaster, captures the voices of more than

200 worshippers singing praise to God in four-part a cappella harmony.

“Last summer, I contacted churches in ten states and asked them to send me

singers to participate in a recording project,” said Lancaster. “It was a concept

I had envisioned because of a need I felt in praise and worship music – the need

for a CD that I could listen to that put me in the middle of the worship

experience, singing along with hundreds of people in harmony.”

Packaged with the featured “Awesome God” CD is a bonus CD that can be used

for vocal training. By adjusting your left and right speakers, you can hear either

the soprano and tenor parts or the bass and alto parts. There’s also a songbook

available featuring the sheet music for all 25 songs.

“We believe this has the potential to really enhance our worship experiences by helping people – young and old –

learn the parts to these songs and then join in praise together to the glory of God,” added Lancaster.
