Blake Jones, 22, is originally from Lexington, Ky. Blake’s interest in music began at an early age when he played the part of Mozart in his third grade talent show. His family also has an interesting connection to music; his grandfather knew Elvis!

Blake holds a degree in Marketing from Lipscomb University and currently works as a marketing specialist at Thomas Nelson Publishers. While attending Lipscomb, Blake was a member of the group X-Changed for two years and participated in several music events around campus. Blake’s impressive vocal range, sense of humor, positive outlook and dedication to music ministry make him an irreplaceable asset to Durant. If you can’t find Blake onstage with Durant, you can find him on the golf course or eating his favorite meal of country fried steak and mashed potatoes. 

Blake’s favorite scripture is Philippians 4:12. “I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want.”
