Rachel Tuggle, 23, is originally from Edmond, Okla. Rachel taught herself how to read music on the piano at the age of 5, and has now been classically trained on the piano for 18 years. While in high school, Rachel performed at the State Fair of Oklahoma with her cover band, The Troobadoors, as well as at the Oklahoma Opry and Opry Station.

Rachel is a graduate of Lipscomb University with a degree in Theater and Journalism. She teaches at Friendship Christian School in Lebanon, TN. While at school, Rachel performed with the group X-Changed for 3 years, as well as a jazz group, an early music group, the choir, and other various musical events on campus. She has also performed in numerous plays and musicals, one of her most memorable roles being Ronnette in Little Shop of Horrors.

When Rachel is not performing with Durant, she enjoys traveling and participating in international missions efforts. Her travels have taken her to Australia, Thailand, China, and Jamaica. She also enjoys running and has completed the Country Music Half-Marathon three years in a row.

Rachel’s favorite scripture is Psalms 73:28.“But as for me, it is good to be near God. I have made the Sovereign Lord my refuge; I will tell of all your deeds.”
