Steve was born in Racine, Wisconsin. The family moved to upstate New York shortly thereafter where Steve grew up on a dairy farm. 'Music has always been a part of my life having been raised in a musical family. I was blessed to have parents who encouraged me to play piano. I struggled through about 8 years of lessons before truly pursuing my vocal training in college.' Steve participated in high school choirs and state choruses, toured twice with the Continental Singers (touring the U.S., Russia, Switzerland, Germany, and the Netherlands), received a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance Degree at Wheaton College, and now Vocal Union -singing IS Steve.
