Robin Brannon, 33, was born and raised in Borger, Texas
and has an extensive background in music, specifically
percussion. He began playing at age 11 and now holds a
Bachelor of Music in Percussion Performance from West
Texas A&M University in Cayon, Texas. He spent more
than ten years teaching percussion publicly and privately
in the Amarillo, TX area.

A former member of the Amarillo Syphony Orchestra,
Amarillo Jazz Orchestra, and Blue Knights Drum and Bugle
Corps drom Denver, Colorado, he has been given many
awards including IAJE Outstanding Soloist at the
UNC/Greeley Jazz Festival and World Champion Timpanist for Drum Corps
International in 1998. If that doesn't make him qualified to do vocal percussion for
Acappella, nothing will!

Robin also excels as a singer, having sung with college groups His Harmony and
Fidelity, WTAMU Chorale, and Texas Legacies, the outdoor musical drama in the
beautiful Palo Duro Canyon.

With his recent marriage to the wonderful Stephanie, Robin also welcomed
11-year-old Gabrielle into his life as his step-daughter. Most guys only get one great
gal with a new marriage, but Robin got two!

Robin's favorite Scripture is Romans 15:13. "May the God of hope fill you with all joy
and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of
the Holy Spirit."
