If every day was Sunday, I’d want to keep on singing. If you have not experienced vibrant, fully-participatory singing in the midst of a loving assembly, you are missing out on a beautiful preview of heaven! Your voice is important to God and to fellow believers, even if you have zero musical ability. Don’t wait until heaven to enjoy a fully-engaged worship experience. Don’t opt out and choose to passively observe other singers as a spectator of worship.
“You, God, are my God,
earnestly I seek you;
I thirst for you,
my whole being longs for you,
in a dry and parched land
where there is no water.
I have seen you in the sanctuary
and beheld your power and your glory.
Because your love is better than life,
my lips will glorify you.
I will praise you as long as I live,
and in your name I will lift up my hands.
I will be fully satisfied as with the richest of foods;
with singing lips my mouth will praise you.”  (emphasis mine)
— Psalm 63:1-5
Thank you, Gulf Coast Church for being an outpost of heaven by modeling passionate worship. Your genuine demonstration of praise makes our hearts long to dwell in His presence.
